OK, so please tell me what you have done to make this picture? It looks almost like a negative, but it can't be because the rails would be almost white.

David Bird: Hi Ellie - the image was made using an infrared filter. The Hoya R72 filter I used blocks normal light but allows through infrared radiation. As you can see its gives a stange tonality to the shot. I used a custom white balance (calibrated to green grass in full sunshine)- I have not adjusted the colours in this image - this is how it comes out of the camera. Exposure times using this filter can be quite long (usually 6 - 10 seconds) so the camera was mounted on a tripod.
